Reality Creation:

Posted on Oct 16th, 2008 by strem2
Based on:

Thomas Troward's THE CREATIVE PROCESS IN THE INDIVIDUAL copyright, 1915

Thomas Troward was the Founder of New Thought, and Reality Creation.

Troward was a major influence on the works of Ernest Holmes, Frederick Bailes, Joseph Murphy and Emmett Fox, and has been quoted by numerous other writers. His writing is both a little archaic and very, very tight with each sentence building logically on the previous idea. We will do our best to make his thinking on reality creation more palatable for the modern reader.

Reality Creation is exciting because it pushes the limits of spiritual beliefs and quantum physics. This is where the Law of Attraction becomes heart blood and heartbeat. This is why Ho'oponopono is able to teach that we all have 100% responsibility and why one person's prayer of cleansing can change another's life forever.

Reality Creation:

Thomas Troward teaches that in the beginning the Spirit had a Thought which created matter for self expression and self recognition. This was the original Reality Creation. At first there was only one intelligent spirit, no time, no motion, no consciousness of self and no matter. This original creation set up an original polarity between Universal Substance and Universal Spirit. Spirit supplied Selection and Motion, the energy, and Substance supplied matter, the material from which everything, all reality is created.

There are four steps in evolution since the Law of Tendency indicates that the Cosmic Mind tends to be active rather than absorbed in an awareness of being. This activity includes the Law of Polarity which maintains a current flow, a motion, and the Law of Reciprocity which demands a similar motion as a balance, so as the stars maintain their circular motion, so do our atoms. Yet, the Cosmic Mind, the Source, wanted more than circles and so evolution produced ever progressive steps:

Step One: Mineral Life in rotation

Step Two: Plant Life

Step Three: Animal Life

Step Four: Human Life. Selection and initiative are the first principles. The third is for an ever increasing Enjoyment of Life.

Step Five: ?

Troward believed there was a Cosmic Mind that insured that the Universal Laws are upheld in all Reality Creation. Euclid's theorem that two things that are equal to another are equal to each other is one of the definitions by which the Cosmic Mind insures that what we see is what our neighbor sees.

Otherwise, he explains, wooden boards would arbitrarily change length, and it would not be possible to build anything. So, once created, matter tends to remain stable. Beyond these laws that maintain the stability of the Universe, we are all free in all other respects to pursue Reality Creation.

Reality Creation begins with the Spirit's conception or statement of something, which necessarily makes it exist! The Law of the Whole, and the Law of the Part insures that we humans are as able to manifest as the original Spirit of which we are a part. We do this every day. Everything in our lives is a creation of our Spirit mind.

Some argue that abuse and disease is not a creation of the victim
.

This is the sticking point for many, we understand. Troward allows that there is the possibility of negativity in the spiritual world, which he calls inversions. "An inversion of the Life-principle will transform the energy stream into something poisonous and deadly. The essential condition for receiving the Perfect Fullness of Life is to present ourselves before the Eternal Spirit free from every trace of inversion."

Prior to Reality Creation we must present our selves in the likeness of the Eternal Ideal. "Project into the Eternal Mind the conception of yourself as identical with the Eternal Ideal."

Thomas Troward passionately asserts that qualities of the Substantive Being are Love, Light, Power, Beauty and Joy. The Qualities of Active Power are Initiative and Selection. These two work together to create our reality. We recognize our own beauty, and we initiate an idea of a beautiful garden, and we select that garden to be in our backyard.

When we are clear of inversions, we will not select or initiate any manifestation that does not come from Love, Light, Power, Beauty and Joy. The Buddha said, "To end suffering completely, one must remove desire, ill will and ignorance." This is the way to clear ourselves of inversions to prepare for healthy Reality Creation.

Some say that Force is the ego's preceptual interpretation -- it's inversion -- of Love.

In Conversations with God, God says that we choose the circumstances of our lives. If that sometimes seems harsh, imagine that we are only partly in this physical world, because we are also always connected to the Source. If that is so, then we can step out of this consciousness at any time, as Jesus did. We don't speak of His suffering as victimization, but as sacrifice. Try to imagine that we all have this strength and choice, to choose love over force. Remember that the temptation in the Garden of Gethsemane was to use force; to take control of the world and its riches. Jesus chose love.

Ho'oponopono

Ho'oponopono is an Hawaiian method of clearing and problem solving and is taught by The Foundation of I, Inc.. "I" come forth from the void into light...The undefinable atom of creation. "I" am the "I".

As taught by Dr. Hew Len,

The Void is the foundation of Self Identity, of Mind, of the cosmos. It is the precursor state to the infusion of Inspirations from Divine Intelligence into the Mind.

All that scientists know is that the cosmos was spawned from nothing, and will return to the nothing from whence it came. The universe begins and ends with zero. (Charles Seife, ZERO: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea.)

Memories replaying themselves displace the Void of Self Identity, precluding the manifestation of Inspirations. To remedy this displacement, to re-establish Self Identity, memories need to be transformed back to void through transmutation by Divine Intelligence.

To clear the unconscious of memories that prevent clarity and connection to Spirit, (or Substantive Being and Active Power in Troward's language) we can consciously petition Divine Intelligence to transmute our memories to void. We do this by praying. As Dr. Hew Len explained to Joe Vitale, we start with telling our memories that we love them. We say we're sorry to Divinity, ask for forgiveness and then finish with "thank you, it is done." The final "it is done" is an affirmation that we believe the Divine Source has already heard our prayer and has begun to act on our request even as we utter the last word in the prayer. Awesome, that is truly connection to Divinity in action!

Troward argues for the tension, the polarity, between Spirit and Matter, and does not discuss levels of consciousness or awareness. Ho'oponopono, or The Foundation of "I", describes the higher mind, which communicates directly with Divine Spirit and receives information as inspirations or delivers our petitions to the Divine. The lower or unconscious mind stores the memories and feelings associated with those memories, and runs our day to day bodily functions. The conscious mind is where we reside in awareness.

Awareness

When we speak of awareness here, we are not alluding to "enlightened" awareness; we are talking about the pictures and the words that represent or that influence the moment to moment thoughts of our conscious brain. Awareness is the holographic movie we produce. Albert Einstein referred to "the optical illusion of consciousness." This is reality creation.

This theory of reality creation asserts that reality is only an idea in our minds. We are spirit beings still connected to Substantive Being and awareness is different. Awareness is our being in the board game that we play with our friends. Awareness is the book we get "lost" in, where we identify with the character we are playing, yet our higher mind is never separate from Spirit.

Awareness of pain, might not be pain that is connected to our physical self. Our lower mind is continually monitoring our body and our location in space and, provided we allow it, is fixing whatever needs to be fixed. Often, if you attend to the pain, standing back just witnessing the pain and accepting it, it goes away as if it just wanted your attention. We have also experienced diving into the pain, and letting the pain fill our awareness to the exclusion of all else. This is like fanning the fire. It increases.

If, in the crowded bus, someone kicks our chair, our lower mind is attentive and may notify our conscious mind if it continues. If, on the highway, someone swerves into our lane, our lower mind will alert our conscious mind which might be "lost" in some thoughts about an upcoming meeting we are planning. Surely you have experienced these moments of attention to something other than "reality?" Reality Creation is a magnification of this. We are always "lost" in our thoughts. The reality that you come back to when you re-attend to your driving, is another created reality.

This is probably a good time to talk about fear. The acronym for this is "false evidence appearing real". All the coaches/trainers/masters of the Law of Attraction warn against fear as one of the most powerful of negative emotions. If you abide in fear, what you don't want will be attracted more quickly than what you do want.

If you sometimes are fearful, Mike Dooley has the most usable methods for conquering fear. Please make use of this in order to salvage your dreams if you sometimes experience fear.

Our conscious mind is full of thoughts, and our unconscious mind is full of our sensory "reality", and our memories. Only our higher mind is free to continually access Divine intelligence and to Create Reality. Yet, on a day to day basis, we are less aware of our higher mind than we are of our conscious, middle mind. Unless there is an accident or trauma ....

In a video of Jill Bolte Taylor for TED (http://www.mindbridge-loa.com/who-are-we.html), she explains how she experienced the right side of her brain without the left hemisphere due to a massive stroke in the left hemisphere. The right side was aware of all the energy exterior to her body and the energy exuding from her body and was unclear about the limits of her body. She was aware of being one with all other beings in the Universe. She took in all the sensory data of touch, sound and sight and was in the moment without a thought of past or future. She was connected to all, connected to One, connected to Source and ecstatic while in her right brain. She was living through lower and upper mind without the interference or interpretation of left hemisphere conscious brain.

What she lost when she lost her left brain, was language, time and sequence. She was not aware of that until she tried to converse with a colleague and realized that he sounded "like a golden retriever" and that she did as well when she tried to respond. She lost her ability to decipher numbers and letters in a meaningful way. She lost her sense of past and future. It was her left brain, clicking in and out like a light with a loose wire, that alerted her to seek help.

She did not talk about this, but we suspect that she lost her Reality Creation. The Active Power that selects and initiates seems to be a function of the part of the brain that sees time and progress in a linear, horizontal fashion. This was gone. The right hemisphere seemed connected to Substantive Being and all Love, Light, Power, Beauty and Joy. This was intact, but the polarity was gone.

And so, without polarity, there is no Reality Creation. Without polarity, we are Being.

Conclusion: I am the crane

Yesterday I watched an episode of Sponge Bob where he was teaching Squid Works to operate a crane. He told him to close his eyes, and to become the crane. Squid Works was skeptical, but he did so and it worked.

Just so, we are avatars, or virtual personages of our own creation in our own virtual world. Enlightened beings are aware that we are connected to original Spirit, and thus, to each other and all life, as Jill Bolte Taylor experienced. We are one. "I am you and you are me" as IN'laketch teaches. "I am that, I am" as the original Spirit said to Moses.

In our virtual world, we create our virtual reality. And, this is why, as Substantive Beings, we are able to initiate and select our reality.

Thoughts on September 11th

Posted on Sep 12th, 2008 by strem2
September 11, 2008

I am very distracted. Today is the 7th anniversary of the greatest loss of life in America caused by an outside force, 2,974 people died in the attacks excluding 19 hijackers. ( – I believe Pearl Harbor had the second greatest loss. 2,402 killed and 1,282 wounded.)

The greatest lie in American history might be that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with it. The perpetrators were Wahhabi Muslims, a sect that originated in Saudi Arabia and took over in the 70’s when Saudi charities began funding the schools. None were Iraqi. (Fifteen of the attackers were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon)

Saddam Hussein was a Sunni Muslim, a minority in his country. When we deposed Saddam, the majority Shites took over and began to strengthen their ties to Iran. No one would argue that Saddam was a good man, but if you ask whether it has been worth it for us to spend a billion dollars a week, who could answer yes? What have we accomplished?

1. We proved to the Arab world that we could, without much provocation, turn against a former ally (President Reagan gave Saddam the weapons of mass destruction that we said he had, so that he could keep Iran in check) using massive force deadly not just to their military, but also to their people. This gave justification to Iran to pursue their nuclear ambitions for self protection.

2. Iraq has recently signed a long term oil contract with China, and has not signed any with us or with British Petroleum. Our oil future is less secure than it was before the war.

3. The surviving people of Iraq will have to live with generations of birth defects caused by the depleted uranium that we have left everywhere, and the people in Falluja have the after effects of White Phosphorous, or the modern version of napalm.

4. Al’Quaeda was originally trained and armed by our CIA in their efforts to defeat the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Their mission was to get the infidels off holy land. Ours was to win the cold war. The economic pressures on the USSR caused by the un-winnable war in Afghanistan, no doubt contributed to their fall. Once the soviets were disposed of, al’Quaeda turned against us because of our military base in Saudi Arabia. As the four year old might say, “I knew that… would happen.” Al’Quaeda has been recruiting faster than ever since we went to war in an innocent Moslem country.

5. Israel and the Saudi princes are probably safer now than they otherwise would be since the anger of the Moslem world is right now strongest against America.

6. We elect a president with no sense of history, who does not listen to his father, he decides to go to war against not just al’Quaeda, but against the religious extremists in Afghanistan and the secular leader of Iraq, all at the same time. In this effort, we are using not just American soldiers, but also a private militia, Blackwater, who does not follow any rules of engagement and has a “get out of jail free” card as part of their contract from our government. They are immune to prosecution according to their contracts. Even our great soldiers could not win the hearts and minds of Iraq while Blackwater empoyees were shooting citizens from the back of their trucks, pillaging and raping women – including American soldiers.

7. And as happened to the Soviets, so our economic resources are stretched beyond our ability to pay, and we are forced to borrow money from China and Saudi Arabia. (Even so, we offer ever larger tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans.) Current spending in Iraq is about $12 billion per month.

8. This president also did not follow the established Pentagon protocol for occupation by providing enough “boots on the ground” but actually fired all those who advocated for a larger force. Because of this, we were not able to secure historical sites, or munitions sites. We have been seeing how well that worked out.
9. Although our Armed Forces are voluntary, they are being forced to go back for multiple deployments, sometimes 4 and 5 times by “stop loss”, which was instituted to prevent loss of numbers of soldiers in Iraq. To replace those soldiers who were injured or killed the US prevents soldiers from leaving at the end of their term. “Stop loss” also allows the US to bring back soldiers who were in the reserves and thought they were out. We have no idea what these men will suffer from the years of adrenalin rush, the years of exposure to explosions and risk of death, the years of exposure to the horrors of war, the years of killing they had to do to stay alive and to follow orders. PTSD seems too mild a diagnosis….

Senator McCain wants to win the war he lost in his youth. I am sympathetic about that. It stinks to lose. He wants to win in Iraq. But, what could he possibly mean by win? If all the violence were to stop, is that winning? Al’Quaeda is still powerful in Afghanistan, Africa, Pakistan and Indonesia, so we have not defeated them. Many Americans might be confused about who was behind 911, but Muslims are not confused. They know that it was Al’Quada and not Iraq. As long as we stay in Iraq, recruitment to fight the infidels will be strong. As long as we stay in Iraq, defeated insurgents will be replaced.

If we look back at September 11th, 2001, we will remember that it was not a country who went to war against us; it was 11 students. They could have been from anywhere. As it happened, none of them were from Iraq.

On this anniversary, can we at least remember the truth? We were attacked by 19 Muslim students, extremists who believed that we had no right to have a military base on their holy land.

The secret of the ages: Miracles Start Here

Posted on Sep 8th, 2008 by strem2
“To he who hath it shall be given; from he who hath not, even what he hath shall be taken away.”

The secret of the ages is a problem, isn't it? This might even be the crux of the problem when using the Law of Attraction in our efforts to manifest our dreams. Yet, how could this really be the words of Jesus? How could Jesus, who was always positive, tell us that the secret of the ages is taking away the little held by the poor? This is the only negative or discouraging statement in the New Testament.

There have  been many pieces written on this. One recent blog was by Bill Harris of Centerpointe Research and the movie, <em>The Secret</em>. He points out that the secret of the ages is that those with positive beliefs will develop a positive energy and attract much good to themselves. He adds that this is even true of microbial creatures. Those who have abundance, who are able to manifest their dreams, will attract more abundance and those who have fallen on lean times emit a different frequency which drives away any of their community who might otherwise follow them into the poor area. Those who have found an environment that meets all their needs emit a signal that calls others to them.

"Come. Here is the Garden of Eden!" Bill Harris proposes that as social creatures, humans have similar signals. This is a part of the secret of the ages.

This is not then a warning from Jesus, but a direction to focus on what you "hath" rather than what you "hath not."  This is the secret of the ages. As a teacher, He was pointing us in the right direction.

To this effort, when using the Law of Attraction consciously, Mike Dooley suggests to us that no matter where we are in life, that we skip any search for limiting beliefs whether we feel that we have been successful or not. Focus on the positive. Focus on what you want to happen when you manifest your dreams.

Focus on the abundance in your life, and the abundance you "imagine" in your life when your dreams are manifested. The pleasure you feel from these images will imprint on your subconscious mind as fact. This too is the secret of the ages. The pleasure you feel from these images will imprint on your subconscious mind which will then arrange for you to see circumstances and to meet people who will assist you in your endeavors. The pleasure you feel from these images will initiate the production of energizing and rejuvenating hormones, and as Bill Harris explained, these hormones will make you feel better, and will make you more attractive to others who will want to be around you and to work with you.

Do not ever, as Vic Johnson says, do not ever "confess" with your mouth anything that you don't want to happen, unless you want the secret of the ages working against you. And, it is not just what you say out loud that can sabotage your best efforts. It is also what you think and the attitude that you feed when you fail to believe that you are a being capable of manifesting your dreams.

Why would Vic Johnson tell us to monitor what we say and think?

You either believe that life is conspiring to help you today, or you don't. This is intrinsic in the secret of the ages. I promise you, that life is on your side each and every day and that this is truth and the secret of the ages. Life is conspiring, right now, to give you exactly what you have asked for! And, this is the reason Vic warns us not to say out loud any bad news or any worries. The Universe will provide those things for us to which we give energy or focus. Vic does not want us to be given the thing we don't  want.

Mike Dooley says that the Universe will always find the most direct and fastest way to provide for us. Let's ensure that it is the good that we really want; the manifestation we have visualized. This positive manifestation is not always obvious when it is happening. Sometimes the Universe will need to shut one door to encourage us to open the other, or it might exercise our mettle and provide training by providing impediments for us to overcome. We might think that we have made a mistake, that this is the Universe giving us something that we don't want. Do not take these as signs that you have not asked correctly or that our manifestation has not worked! Take these as signs that our manifestation is working.

Vic Johnson tells us that "The size of  your success is determined by the size of your belief."  As our belief grows, so does our success. As we gain practice and experience harnessing the Law of Attraction and manifesting our dreams, our success increases. As our success increases, so does our belief, and so it goes. Some teachers suggest that we start with something small when first using the Law of Attraction to manifest our dreams.

In As A Man Thinketh, James Allen tells us, "The will to do springs from the knowledge that we can do....Circumstance does not make the man; it reveals him to himself." In those revelations Allen states one will find all of the barriers to realizing all of the wealth, all of the abundance, all of the dreams for this lifetime, more than they could ever imagine. He writes that man "is the sole author of his condition."

In Above Life's Turmoil he tells us, "Belief always precedes action."

All the masters tell us the same thing. It starts with our belief. Jesus tells us, "Believe and your prayers will be answered." That was His secret and, there is not any catch to it. It is exactly true, as written. We must believe every day, every day, every day. First, there will be hurtles if we have a big dream. Do not let the hurtles discourage you, but encourage you because they tell you that it is on it's way. You have successfully entered the quantum world of manifesting and as long as you don't exit, your visualization will become your life. (Even better, Bill Harris would tell you that although sometimes we seem to be swimming against the flow there is no possibility of exiting the stream.)

Mike Dooley and Chellie Campbell( www.chellie.com/) suggest that we review these helpful beliefs on a daily basis no matter what our former beliefs were:
_________________________________________

1.  Believe that you are worthy and will manifest your dream!

2.  Believe that there is enough for anyone and that more will be produced.

3.  Having yours, does not stop anyone else from having theirs.

4.  If you have more, it will help you to do more good.

5.  You have dominion over all things and can manifest any dream you want.

6.  The Universe will provide for you. If you take the step, the landing will be there. Until you take the step, you won't see the ledge.

7.  You are getting closer every day to manifesting your dream.

8.  My affirmations work for me, whether I believe they will or not. (This is for the skeptics among you.)

9.  I am a money magnet!

10. I am in charge of my body. I produce antibodies and youth hormone as needed. My weight will be optimal for my health and well being, allowing me to manifest my dreams and to enjoy them once I have them.

11. Money comes to me easily and effortlessly, waking and sleeping.

12. I am now highly pleasing to myself in other people’s presence.

13. I walk, talk, look, act, think and am rich!

14. I am a winner--I win often, and I win big!

15. Something wonderful is happening to me today—I can feel it!

_________________________________________

Arm yourself for the secret of the ages. Arm yourself with the above beliefs when using the Law of Attraction. Arm yourself with the ability to overcome dis-couragement when manifesting your dreams, because it takes courage to become successful. If you find yourself having a fearful or sad or angry or jealous thought, you must counter it as quickly as possible.

Three Countering techniques:

  •     List making. If you are having doubts about your ability to do something that is necessary for the manifestation of your dream, sit down as quickly as possible and make a list of as many reasons as possible of why the task "turned out to be greatly successful." Do the list from the future perspective, looking back on the event or task, as if you are doing a postmortem. Everything on the list should be positive. This is no time to be "reasonable" or "logical", although, do not go so far out that you will mentally be correcting every statement. For example, you might say, "the meeting with the funder was successful because we were all prepared; we know our subject inside and out; the funder was very sympathetic once he heard the truth about ___; our management team is solid; and we are always able to think of the right word at the right time."  You might not be able to believe: "We are the best in the world at what we do" so skip that one. Here we are seeking to counter negative thoughts or beliefs with positive ones that come with pictures.

  •     Ho'oponopono. This is the Hawaiian clearing or self identity affirming, or problem solving method. This is faster. Take 100% responsibility for whatever happens. If a man cuts you off on the highway, say, "I love you, Divinity. I am sorry for whatever I or my ancestors have done to cause this. Please forgive me. Thank you. It is done."    Or, an alternative is "I love you, Divinity. I am sorry for whatever I or my ancestors have done to cause this. Please take this program and transmute it to the light where it will burn away. Thank you. It is done." Here we are accepting responsibility for whatever has occurred that has caused a worry, or for any negative thought that has come to mind. Once we accept responsibility, we can ask for help in getting rid of it, and we do so. Finally, we believe that the Universe, Creator, Divinity, has done what we asked and that we are clear of the negativity. We are moving toward a persona that has no old baggage to cause trouble, or a persona that has no ego interfering with the work and inspiration of our spirit. We are moving to regain the clarity we had before, before any negative events and before any sadness or disappointments in our lives affected our spirits. This will open our minds and hearts to ever greater ideas for wealth and abundance. Soon, we will have the object of our dreams, or better.

  •   Aloha. This is another Hawaiian technique and the fastest of all to do. You only have to feel jealousy or other negative emotion, and you then counter it by sending a blessing to the person who has the car that you would like, or the home that you wanted, or is leading a life that you would like. Send them a blessing, and your unconscious will feel the happiness you feel for them, and start the process of providing whatever it is for you. This is probably connected to the fact that we are all part of one reality, one spiritual truth. As the Mayans said, "I am you and you are me." As you point to the other, and wish them well, you are also wishing yourself well. As you feel pleasure for the car or the home or the body or the clothes, you are sending instructions to your subconscious to provide for you, the car or home, or body or clothes. Soon, you will have the same or better.

Miracles start here when manifesting your dream:

  1.  Visualize your dream. Spend ten minutes each day, visualizing with all the movie theatre color and sound you can muster. Then, feel the excitement and the thrill of the achievement. Feel the pleasure you feel when making good use of your accomplishments.
  2.  State your affirmative beliefs every day.
  3.  Counter any negative feelings or thoughts as quickly as you can. Never, never state any such thoughts out loud.
  4.  Repeat as necessary.

EFT is allowing my lover to sing a song that has made her cry since her brother died!

It's beautiful, and making me cry that she can finally do it. Love, and birds are singing with her.

We are Responsible for It All:

Posted on Aug 13th, 2008 by strem2

Thought + Emotion = Attraction

How can we accept total responsibility for everything that happens in our purview even if it appears that someone else was responsible? Consider this. We are not aware of anything happening that is not first filtered through our brains. The full moon seems larger when at the horizon, although it is not really larger. Take a photo and you will see the actual size. It is the same size as it appears when in the center of the sky. Our minds change the size because they think that something at the horizon is closer, and therefore should be larger. This is done without our awareness. Scientists are distressed that, especially at the quantum level, they can't be sure of anything because our minds adjust and change the appearance of reality. Photos have proven that a thing can be in two places at once, and energy can be either wave or particle depending on the belief of the observer. Since according to quantum physics all is energy and all is either particle or wave, nothing is happening except what we imagine. It is then, by definition, our creation and thus, our responsibility.

Mayans and Zen Buddhists agree with quantum physicists that we are connected to each other and to all creation and to the creative source. Quantum physicists say our connection is through energy to a creative source that is aware of itself, and Zen Buddhists might say it is through the Big Mind that we are connected to the big Buddha.

This is how the Law of Attraction works. It all works through Big Mind, or in Ho'oponopono it is either our Unconscious or our Super Conscious Mind which is our connection to the creative source. Without inspiration, we create both good and bad accidentally, depending on our expectations which come from our memories. Our memories are stored in the unconscious (processing things at 15 million bytes an instant) and fed to the conscious mind (processing things at 15 bytes each instant).

These memories are the cause of all the problems which come into our lives. If our conscious mind (processing things at 15 bits each instant) has an intention and is putting all our attention on the outcome, this is 15 bits of intention and 15 bits of attention each moment. If our unconscious brain, (processing things at 15 million bits an instant) has a memory which countermands the intention of the conscious brain, there is no chance that the conscious intention is going to manifest. (Odds are 14,999,985 against it.)

Ho'oponopono (or alternatively The Sedona Method) helps us to clear negativity from our lives by asking Divinity, the Infinite or Divine Intelligence or the creative source to clear it from our minds and hearts. Once it's gone, we won't see it or manifest it any longer. It will cease bringing stressful things into our lives. This is an ongoing process. Memories displace the Void, thus taking us away from our true identities and our connection to Divine Inspiration.

As Dr. Hew Len quotes Abraham Lincoln, "a house divided against itself cannot stand."   Once we are cleared of negativity, what manifests is all good, from inspiration directly sent from the creative source, (the energy that is aware of itself, that always was and always will be and that was there in the Void,) as picked up by the Super Conscious Mind. Until then, things are so mixed up with good and bad, that our ability to manifest good things is neutralized.

If a problem disappears after doing Ho'oponopono, was the problem really there or was it a figment of your imagination, or was it simply a memory replayed?

The Collective Unconscious

Posted on Aug 7th, 2008 by strem2

What if we could manifest whatever we needed as Jesus Christ multiplied the little boy's lunch of loaves and fishes to be enough food for a large audience? What if we could take this out of the realm of miraculous, and make it commonplace? The quantum physicists see no reason that we can't do so.

And, what if we could see and feel that we are really all connected? We would begin to see racism and genocide as suicide and child abuse as self abuse. The mystics, Jesus Christ, and Buddha have all talked about our spiritual connection to each other and to the Creative Source. The quantum physicists agree that at the quantum level, we are all connected and we are all creating our own reality.

Our brain, which takes in from one's entire environment billions of bytes of information per second, stores all of that data somewhere in the unconscious.  The conscious mind, though, is only processing several thousand of all those bytes per second (and even that is astounding!).  We are initially trained by all of our teachers, mentors, and significant others in our lives to "see and understand" parts, or holograms, from all of those billions of informational data.  Then we later learn how to process more of those informational bytes on our own.  What we are left with that we take in from previous realities, plus our own experiences is what quantum physicists now call holographs.  So, we have been trained to see and understand what and how others have seen and understood, that is, what is believed to constitute reality.  Yet, the holograph that we believe to be reality is actually what keeps us separated. As Michael Beckwith says in the movie, The Secret, "We've all taken a nightmare pill."

In the early 1960's, even though the threat of nuclear warfare hung over our consciousness' like the radioactive cloud it would cause, we still took on the challenge of racing to the moon.

Violence was part of the collective consciousness since the beginning of time, and in our time stemming back to events such the Viet Nam war, the political assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King and Stokley Carmichael, among others.  Several celebrities, including Janice Joplin and Jimmie Hendrix, committed suicide by drug or alcohol overdoses. One President committed political suicide and had to resign in disgrace. The backlash was the proliferation of the Flower Children, and the rise of groups and organizations dedicated to protest and the reorganization of society as it had then become.  In the arts, the Beatles made their transition from their most simple lyrics "I want to hold your hand..." to those later lyrics of John Lennon with "All we need is love...,"  "We all live in a Yellow Submarine....," and ironically, "I am a Walrus" perhaps indicative of his unity with the collective unconscious, and maintained even until today by the Mayans' In L'ackech, or "I am you and you are me." (Hunbatz Men, Science and Religion Maya, 1975).

At that time there was an evolving sensibility by many that we were going through this together. The US Constitution was changed with the addition of the Civil Rights laws to protect previously unprotected citizens. John XXIII changed the Catholic Church forever by stating that those who were practitioners of other faiths and religions were connected and could also please God by their love and good works, and the study of Jesus Christ began to emphasize that God was an advocate of love rather than the keeper of the law. Transcendental Meditation was gaining popularity in the west and showing that people were searching for more depth of spirituality than generally available in most synagogues or churches, which were only visited on Saturday or Sunday. In his laboratory, Dr. Timothy Leary developed a substance offering a biological aid in finding universal truth. Not only Jews were studying the Kabala and Zen Buddhist centers began spreading in the United States.

Ronald Reagan was at the forefront of the undertow, the recoil against Jimmy Carter and the Flower Children movement. In the 80's and 90's there was a transition from an emphasis on love, spiritual life and community to the rebirth of formal Christianity, individual success and financial greed. Thus began the disrespect and slow destruction of the middle class, and the splitting of America into the extremely wealthy and the desperately poor. The backlash has run its course. America is facing a recession and serious financial collapse due to the largest debt, both personal and national that we have ever sustained. There is almost no confidence in either government or business to correct the current problems. We have taken a nightmare pill!

In the 1990's, we still had a sense of decency and stepped in to help stop the genocide in the Balkans. Less than 10 years later, there is only little political pressure to stop the genocide in Rwanda and Darfur. We have taken a nightmare pill!

In the 1960's, the President had used FBI operatives to spy on the opposite political party during an election year, and he was shamed into resigning. In the 1990's a President was impeached for lying to Congress once.  More recently, the current political party with the approval of the President has also used government agents for his own political purposes and lied to Congress and the Senate and to the world without censure. He has publicly admitted to disregarding the FISA law and has disregarded the Constitutional rights of prisoners to hear the accusations against them and a chance to face their accusers. Yet, there is no outcry.  We have taken a nightmare pill!

There is some hope because the growth of blogs gives humans some access to truth and discourse. Publishers are buying and producing more non-fiction than fiction. The popularity of the movies, The Secret and What the Bleep is Going On offer some indication that the growth of the mind and spirit has continued and that people are ready to step up to the next level in human development.

In 1993, 4,000 people from all over the world who practice meditation gathered in Washington DC to spend 24 hours reducing the crime rate 25%. The police chief did not believe this would work and stated that it would take 24" of snow to reduce the crime rate by that much. He helped to write the report when he was faced with numbers showing that the crime rate had indeed been reduced by 25% during that time.

I believe we are poised for another social revolution as in the 60's, but one that is larger and more powerful. This will be the second wave. I believe we are ready for a time when miracles become commonplace. In the early ‘90's, there were several books published that taught the principles of the Law of Attraction, but they were not best sellers. Today, the movie and book The Secret and those teachers (John Assaraf, Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Mike Dooley, Hale Dworskin, Bill Harris, Lisa Nichols, Bob Proctor, James Arthur Ray, Lorna Langemeir, David Wolf, and Joe Vitale) who were part of it have all become wealthy through the books and trainings that they provide. Contemporary entertainment media has incorporated some of the principles based on the Law of Attraction and other such principles in their films and music.  The movement is growing. Large numbers of people are hungry for change.

If 4,000 people can reduce the crime rate in the murder capital of the world by 25% in only one day, what can happen when 4,000,000 are meditating daily and visualizing peace and prosperity for all? If 4,000,000 all take 100% responsibility not only for our own lives, but for our lives and the suffering of everyone in our environment, what might happen then? What would happen if it was 40,000,000?

Ho'oponopono. I love you; I'm sorry for anything I or any of my relatives or ancestors back to the beginning of time might have done to cause you harm or injury. Please forgive me.  I am sorry. Thank you. It is done!

The Law of Attraction Takes Time

Posted on Aug 1st, 2008 by strem2

Perserverance is a necessary aspect of character. We are adding this section because sometimes the Law of Attraction takes time. We are not told this explicitly by the teachers and coaches, and no one can tell us how long it will take. I think that it depends on the size of your dream. James Arthur Ray in the movie, The Secret has an illustrative piece where he shows the grass shoot just about to sprout above the ground but then the manifester loses hope, faith or confidence and the little shoot goes back down. I heard that Henry Ford declared bankruptcy 7 times before changing the world with his mass produced six cylinder engine. He was one of the magnates who informed Napoleon Hill's work in the Law of Attraction.

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich talks about persistance as one of the qualifiers for wealth and happiness. He emphasizes this as a necessary character trait and tells the stories of many, many people who set out to become wealthy or successful. None of those he talks about got rich quickly and all spent some time in difficult circumstances before successfully implementing the Law of Attraction. If you look up the biography of the teachers featured in the movie, The Secret, you will find a common history in making it only after some financial low. I had been wondering if this was a necessary element in wealth and began to investigate the time issue with the Law of Attraction further.

Robert Kiyosaki was living in his car with his wife before he made it big. John Assaraf was living on the street as was Joe Vitale before their grass sprouted above ground. Wayne Dyer says that when he was first teaching, he was living in his car and learned how to sneak into hotel rooms while the rooms were being cleaned in order to use the showers. In fact, the only person I have found who created his own wealth who was never living in poverty was Donald Trump. He narrowly escaped bankruptcy when his casino in New Jersey took a dip in revenue, and he only did so by changing his lifestyle and re-focusing on business. It is taught in the Kabbalah and by Buddhists that we must survive a fall before we can make a jump up to a new level.

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent.

Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

- Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933)

Mike Dooley
at TUT.com, another one of the teachers in the movie The Secret when talking about the Law of Attraction, explains that when we are looking to manifest wealth and happiness we should "Keep doing what you are doing but do it better." Mike Dooley says that if we don't master what we are doing, it will master us. When we master what we are doing, the Universe will give us a better opportunity. Choices multiply. Other people notice us. We will be given opportunities and we will see what we really want to do. Or, we will find that we are living the life of our dreams and will not know how it happened. He tells the story of a computer expert who relocated from the UK to the USA for a great job. Shortly after he got his family settled, the company went bankrupt. His family was happy in the US so he was determined to do whatever he had to do in order to stay. He became a busboy at a restaurant, and a short time later was regional manager. Now, that's doing whatever you have to!

During this seasoning time, after we have used the Law of Attraction to manifest something better in our lives, we must keep positive, avoiding criticism and negativity, and be careful to make decisions based on love and not fear. As Dooley says, do everything that you can with what you have and you don't have to hit the home run; you just have to keep pitching balls until the Universe hits one for us.

If your dream is a big one, you might have a lot of ripening, and a bit of learning to do. Hang in there.
